Synchrotron radiation photoelectron and soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy
Abstrakt:
Synchrotron-based high-resolution X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (SR-PES) with tunable photon energies, combined with X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS), offers detailed insights into the surface and interface chemical composition and electronic structure of low-dimensional materials and their heterostructures. The capabilities of these spectroscopic techniques will be demonstrated through the investigation of surface-assisted synthesis of graphene nanostructures and graphene – hexagonal boron nitride heterostructures.
