991

On 30.3. In 2020, the Crisis Assembly (CA) of IEE SAS met and agreed on further instructions and rules for the upcoming period:

  • The heads of the scientific departments will provide the Institute management with signed documents of the “home office” for the previous month (from 10.3.2020 inclusive), describing activities of workers during their work at home in March. The document is signed by both the employee (for each day of work at home) and the head of the department. The form to be filled in can be downloaded from this link, the days marked with bold must be completed and signed.
  • The heads of the Economic and Technical Department proceed in a special way (solved individually).
  • The basic administration of the Institute (payments, signing) will continue in a limited form also during the upcoming holiday from 6th to 19th of March 2020.
  • By April 20, the Institute will prepare for the start of normal work under special hygienic conditions (if the situation permits). This mode will mean:
    • Adherence to strict hygienic conditions by all employees of the Institute – wearing masks, gloves, frequent hand washing and airing, etc.
    • Hygiene measures from the management of the institute (delivery of masks, gloves, regular disinfection of the entrance, toilet, stair handrails, door handles, etc.).
    • CA recommends minimizing operations that increase the possibility of virus transmission (leaving office keys in the door, using your pen, not drinking coffee at the reception, …).
    • Reducing the number of staff present at the Institute, offices, and laboratories at one time with the following measures:
      • The employees of the scientific departments over 65 years of age are ordered to continue to work at home.
      • Even workers under the age of 65 with health issues may stay work at home if the CA agrees.o   PhD students writing PhD. work at home, researchers currently writing the article also work at home.
      • The heads of the departments will propose how to ensure that only one worker is present at a time in one office. Work at home can continue if possible (especially for theoretical works), work in laboratories can be done in alternation in the morning/afternoon and so on. CA will help them with particular solutions if necessary.
      • The regime in laboratories will be regulated – the number of workers who can work simultaneously in a laboratory will be limited, e.g. cryo-lab – 3, clean-room – 2, SEM lab. – 2, and so on. The head of the laboratory will be responsible for keeping the maximum number of workers.
  • From April 20, the Institute will work in standard mode with porters.
