Laboratories

Institute of Electrical Engineering SAS operates laboratories for growth of semiconductor, superconductors, dielectric, and metallic thin films (ranging from nano to micrometers), clean room facilities for their patterning using planar technology, and number of diagnostic techniques for characterization of structural, optical, and electrical properties of thin films. Also, technologies for manufacturing and electrical characterization of superconducting cables are available.

Most of the laboratories are located directly in the institute headquarters (Bratislava, Dúbravská cesta 9), part of them are located in the detached facility in Piešťany ( Vrbovská cesta 110).

Laboratories are primarily used for research activities of the Institute, educational and training purposes, and upon request, they may be available also for users outside SAS.
