Over the past two weeks, the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (ElÚ SAV) hosted a professional internship for 4th-year students from the Adlerka Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering as part of the HUBsburg – TwinSmart project. Supported by the Bratislava Region, the project focuses on fostering collaboration between secondary schools, universities, and research institutions. The students were divided into several groups and worked on their assigned topics directly within our laboratories. The internship concluded with presentations, during which each group shared their findings, further expanding their theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of 2D materials, semiconductors, and superconductors. We wish the students the best of luck and success in their upcoming final (maturita) exams!
