On September 16, 2025, the Small Congress Center of the SAS Publishing House Veda in Bratislava hosted the award ceremony for the Outstanding Publications of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) for 2024. The prizes were presented by the President of SAS, Martin Venhart, together with the Vice-President for Science, Research and Innovation, Tomáš Hromádka.
Awards were given in four categories: Outstanding Journal Publications, Nature Index Publications, Outstanding Scientific Monographs, and Publications in Journals Listed in the Norwegian Register.
Among the laureates were researchers from the Institute of Electrical Engineering SAS, recognized in the Nature Index Publications category.
- Peter Hutár received the award for his publication “Thermal Stability of Chalcogenide Perovskites” in the journal Inorganic Chemistry.
- The author team of Jana Hrdá, Martin Moško, Tatiana Vojteková, Lenka Pribusová Slušná, Peter Hutár, Marián Precner, Edmund Dobročka, Marianna Španková, Martin Hulman, Štefan Chromik, and Michaela Sojková was honored for their paper “ Investigating structural, optical, and electron-transport properties of lithium intercalated few-layer MoS2 films: Unraveling the influence of disorder,” published in Applied Physics Letters.
