The Institute of Electrical Engineering SAS announces a selection procedure for the position of Research Scientist at the Department of Physics and Technology at Nanoscale.
Job Information:
The position will focus on independent scientific research in the field of the development of artificial magnetic crystals and will include the fabrication of artificial magnetic structures, the preparation of measurement instrumentation, and the analysis and interpretation of measured data. Experience with work in cleanroom environments for the fabrication of nanostructures and their comprehensive characterization is expected.

Salary Conditions:
Salary will be determined in accordance with Act No. 553/2003 Coll., functional salary starting from 2000 EUR.

Requirements for the Candidate:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field
- Previous experience in the following areas will be considered a significant advantage: knowledge and interest in micro-/nanomagnetism, use of Origin, Python, and Comsol software, experience with deposition equipment, lithography tools, and structural, magnetic, and electrical characterization techniques (e.g., SEM, AFM/MFM, PPMS, Hall).
- Experience with microwave techniques and experiments is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the English language

- Third-level university education (PhD)
