On 18.12.2025, the end of the year seminar of Elektrotechnického ústavu SAV took place at the hotel Crowne Plaza, where results from the years 2024 and 2025 were presented. For the fifth time international advisory board attended, with the members being Prof. Teresa Puig (ICMAB, Spain), Prof. Jaroslav Fabian (Univ. Regensburg, Germany), Prof. Martin Kuball (Univ. Bristol, UK) and Dr. Valentin Novosad (Argonne Nat. Lab., Illinois, USA), whose critique allows the institute to reach internationally relevant research. Based on their recommendations, the Institute is participating in international collaborations with scientific or industrial partners on themes with a worldwide significance in the form of projects such as SK-TW with ITRI, CRYOPROP, AGAMI_EURIGAMI or is building the necessary basics in critical topics such as quantum technologies in the form of project skQCI. In addition to these projects, we were granted several projects from the Recovery and Resilience plan, from grant agencies M-ERA.NET, SAV-TUBITAK, COST and national grant agencies. We are able to achieve these results in no small part due to continuous focus on bringing in new students and convincing young scientists to return to Slovakia, thanks to increased focus on popularization of the institute.
