In 2025, researchers from the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, presented their scientific activities as part of the European Researchers’ Night festival. Since 2025 was also declared the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, a Quantum Zone was created in the V-club, featuring demonstrations, experiments, and workshops. At our booth, titled Quantum Detection, we introduced visitors to the development and operating principles of a superconducting single-photon detector and superconducting levitation.
