PhD Study Information

Institute of Electrical Engineering is accredited to provide PhD studies as an external educational institution in collaboration with Slovak University of Technology and Comenius University in the following doctoral study programs:

  • Physical Engineering (Slovak University of Technology)
  • Electronics and Photonics (Slovak University of Technology)
  • Physics of Condensed Matter and Acoustics (Comenius University)

  • For the programs Electronics and Photonics and Physical Engineering, it is necessary to follow the instructions of FEI STU. For the program Physics of Condensed Matter and Acoustics, it is necessary to follow the instructions of FMFI UK.

Deadline for applications: April 30, 2025 (FMFI UK); May 31, 2025 (FEI STU)

Admission Interview: June 23 – 24, 2025
